for the 2012 General Election will be held

Franklin County Supervisor of Elections Office
47 Ave F Apalachicola, FL
We will be conducting a manual audit of the voting tabulation
system.
Precinct 2 - State's Attorney Race was drawn by
random selection for this audit.
The manual audit of the voting system, held on November 14, 2012, came out with 100% accuracy.
NOTICE:
The Canvassing Board for the General Election will convene, immediately following Election Night returns for the General Election, November 6, 2012. A random selection of a Precinct and a Contest will be drawn to conduct a manual audit of the voting system. The Franklin County Canvassing Board will reconvene at 10:00am on Friday, November 9, 2012 at the Supervisor of Elections office located at 47 Ave F, Apalachicola, FL to conduct the manual audit of the voting system. If necessary, the Canvassing Board will convene on November 16, 2012 to canvass any overseas ballots that were received during the 10 day wait period. If dates and\or times change for the manual audit, new dates and times will be posted at our office and on the Supervisor of Elections website.
The post election audit for the Primary Election is now complete. The M100 tested to 100% complete accuracy.
Important Notice- County Commission District 3 Candidate Wilmer Earl Deason has officially withdrew from the race. Due to having no opposition in the General Election for County Commission District 3 Mr. Noah Lockley is now declared the winner.
Notification of Logic and Accuracy Testing of Election Equipment
The Franklin County Supervisor of Elections Office
will be conducting the Logic and Accuracy Testing (L&A) of our
voting equipment on the following dates:
Primary Election - July 25, 2012 @ 10:00 am
General Election - October 17, 2012 @ 10:00 am
Testing wil be held at the: Franklin County Supervisor of Elections Office 47 Ave F, Apalachicola, FL
The testing will include Early Vote, Absentee and Precinct Equipment.
If the date or times of L&A testing are changed written notice will be given.
Be on the lookout for your new voter registration cards arriving in the mail soon.
Due to the redistricting of the State House and Senate Districts Franklin County will no longer be split. We are now in State Senate District 3 and State House District 7. Our Congressional District stayed the same. Your new voter cards will reflect these changes.
